Orders and Shipping
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Ready-to-ship items are typically shipped within 3-5 business days of your order. Custom items are shipped within 3-5 business days of when I finish making the item. (When you contact me for a custom item, we will discuss turnaround time so you know exactly what to expect.)
Do you ship internationally?
For now I only ship within the contiguous United States. I would like to offer international shipping in the future as I get more comfortable with ecommerce.
Do you offer returns or refunds?
I do not accept returns or exchanges. Refunds on ready-to-ship items are accepted only before the order has shipped. For custom orders, refunds are only accepted before I have begun working on the item— however, 25% of the purchase price will be kept as a non-refundable deposit.
If something is wrong with your order upon arrival, contact me with an image of the problem and depending on the situation I can possibly offer a replacement or repair. The original item must be shipped back to me.
Do you accept payment plans?
I accept payment plans for custom orders only. Payments can be made in 2 installments of 50% each. If you are interested in this option, just mention it when inquiring about a custom order.
Embroidery Care
How do I care for an embroidered art piece?
I recommend displaying the piece out of direct sunlight and out of reach of pets/anyone else who may not treat it delicately.
If pet hair or other fibers get onto the piece over time, you can gently use a lint roller to tidy the backing fabric. I would not recommend using a lint roller directly on the stitches since it may pull on them and cause fraying or wear, but a small pair of tweezers can be used to gently remove stubborn hairs. Just be careful to only grab the hair and not the stitches.
If a piece becomes stained, spot clean it with a damp cloth or cotton swab.
